Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive meaningful and targeted support. Staff work closely with external professionals to ensure consistent support is implemented. Funding is used well for extra sessions and resources like sensory items and calming bags to help with transition.

Outdoor space

Children delight in exploring the outdoor environment. They use binoculars to hunt for 'a tiger' during pretend play and excitedly fill containers during water play, demonstrating an early mathematical awareness.

My daughter spent 2.5 years at this amazing pre-school and we couldn't have been happier with the experience she had there. Clare and her team are incredibly experienced, nurturing and hardworking and they create such a warm, caring and fun environment. Thanks to Little Bird's Nest Pre-School, my daughter is highly ready for school in every sense. We have felt so very sad to leave as it is such a special place, and the staff have felt like a family to us since we moved to the area. If you are considering this pre-school for your child, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to you. Thank you Clare and team for everything you have done for our little girl - we feel very lucky to have had the time with you but know you will continue to shine bright.

The best preschool we’ve experienced. My 2 youngest children attended Little Birds Nest from 2 years old to reception age and had the best time, they are so fun, nurturing and caring. I never had any guilt about leaving them there whilst I went to work and more to the point, they really wanted to go because they loved it so much! I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is the most nurturing, inclusive preschool i have ever known. Incredible for children with SEN, very, very reasonably priced and the staff are absolutely fantastic. The children are so lovely, as is the bond they all share with staff. Everybody goes above and beyond here and i am so sad it is time for us to leave. My little boy has had the BEST time here over the past two and a half years. The progress he has made really is remarkable and it is of full credit to the staff here. They have done everything and more to prepare him for school and allow him to thrive. I wish this preschool was around when my eldest was of this age. Everybody I have spoken to about this preschool who has visited or has children who attend or have attended shares my opinion. Clare, Catherine, Basma, Morgan & Holly - you are all amazing. Thank you 🩷

My youngest child spent 2 years at Little Bird’s and it is the best preschool setting I could have imagined for her. Clare and the team are so flexible and nurturing, I really think it is the loveliest preschool setting in Wilmslow. Thanks Clare and team x
