The House Of Rompa, established in 1991, provides childcare for children aged 0-4 years in Wilmslow. Open all year round, Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, the nursery demonstrates exceptional flexibility in meeting parents' needs, including extending opening hours to support working families.

The setting achieved an Outstanding rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 5th March 2019. The curriculum for younger children includes stimulating activities such as popping bubbles, while older children explore their environment through outdoor activities like examining frozen water and listening to the crunch of snow.

SEND provision

Highly effective monitoring and tracking of individual and different groups of children ensures outstanding outcomes. This enables the manager to identify gaps rapidly and provide exceptional support for all children.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of teaching during indoor and outdoor activities and assessed the impact this has on children's learning. Older children examine frozen water and listen with high levels of interest to the crunch of the snow under their feet while in the outdoors.
