Inclusion & environment
Staff work collaboratively with parents and outside agencies to ensure that children receive all the support they need, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Younger children have plenty of opportunities to develop their small muscles while playing with toy bricks in the outdoor environment. Outdoors, children delight in making their own potions using different-sized containers and bottles.
This is an excellent nursery with longstanding staff that go out of their way to form meaning relationships with the children. My son started as a young baby and graduated at the end of pre-school. He was a challenging baby, but the staff persevered and built a close and loving relationship with him. The baby room is small with very experienced staff and a loving atmosphere. Having this level of care was much valued during lockdown when we had no access to people beyond our immediate family unit. As he grew older the team fostered his interests delivering far beyond what you might expect for a nursery / preschool. Day to day experiences included specialist sports teachers, French teachers and dance teachers. I was amazed by what my son learnt from them. The nursery also delivers experiences for the kids and family like Christmas parties, Christmas nativity, trips to farms and forest school. They definitely went above and beyond exemplified by the graduation ceremony at the end.
