Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6pm
30am to 6pm, all year round. The nursery's curriculum places children's emotional well-being at its core, with staff understanding how crucial attachment building is for children to feel secure.
To facilitate a smooth transition, staff visit children and their families at home before they start, helping them settle with ease into this stimulating environment. A key aspect of the nursery ethos is outdoor learning, with children flourishing in the forest school and other outdoor areas.
Younger children develop physical skills by navigating different levels and balancing on beams, while toddlers are captivated by exploring the natural world and caring for creatures found in the environment. Staff have exceptionally high expectations for every child, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).
Children with SEND receive a first-class experience; staff proactively identify any learning gaps, and a knowledgeable coordinator collaborates with parents and key persons to swiftly implement individual plans, ensuring children are well-supported in their learning journey and make excellent progress. This comprehensive approach, combined with a focus on inspiring and challenging activities tailored to each child's needs, ensures all children are well-prepared for their transition to school and become confident, independent individuals.
