Little Dragon's Nursery, located in the Georgian canal town of Stourport-on-Severn within the Wyre Forest District of North Worcestershire, offers a nurturing and homely environment designed to foster learning and well-being for every child. Since opening in September 2020 following an OFSTED registration in July 2020, the nursery has focused on creating a secure and stimulating space, particularly for children taking their first steps outside their family circle.

The nursery’s philosophy, symbolised by their dragon logo, emphasises the unique value and unlimited learning potential of each child, encouraging them to learn at their own pace with guidance from experienced adults. The curriculum is built around child-centred learning, with a strong focus on communication as the foundation for all other learning, and play as the most effective tool for development.

The nursery is led by a qualified and experienced teacher, ensuring that their approaches are rooted in educational theory and research. They employ continuous provision, where resources and activities are designed to follow the child's lead, encouraging exploration, creativity, and inquiry.

The team is dedicated to ongoing professional development and maintains rigorous safeguarding procedures, including enhanced DBS checks for all staff. With three interconnecting, spacious rooms for children under two and a two-tiered play area, the nursery provides a dynamic setting for imaginative play and learning.
