Little Moors Farm Nursery in Kidderminster provides care for children from birth to four years old. The day nursery operates all year round, from 7.15am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. At its Ofsted inspection in October 2022, the day nursery was rated Good. The inspector reported that children arrive happy, form strong bonds with staff, and show high levels of independence, providing a good foundation for their learning. Staff manage children's behaviour well, and children are polite and learn to share and take turns.
The curriculum includes significant time outdoors, where children visit horses, climb trees, and learn about natural habitats. The Ofsted report noted that the manager has devised an ambitious and well-sequenced curriculum, with children showing an excellent enjoyment of books and stories. Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities was described as a strength of the nursery. According to the inspector, parents speak highly of the setting and the progress their children make, particularly in their language and physical skills.
