Little Ducklings Creche in Shipley provides a caring and nurturing environment for children aged 2 to 4 years. 30pm during term-time, the nursery ensures children feel happy and secure, forming positive relationships with staff who know them and their families well.

Established in 2013, the nursery was rated as good by Ofsted at its most recent inspection on 13th November 2023. Staff plan engaging activities that give children a wide range of experiences, from developing physical skills outdoors through running, kicking balls, and riding balance bikes, to fostering communication and language skills by modelling new words and encouraging conversation.

The curriculum also includes opportunities for children to engage with stories, songs, and rhymes, and staff skilfully model mathematical language during play, for example, discussing "heavy" and "light" during water activities. The dedicated SEND coordinator works closely with outside agencies to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, ensuring all children make good progress.

Leaders and managers provide excellent support to families, signposting to early help and offering a food bank. Parents consistently praise the approachable staff and value the support and advice they receive.
