My daughter has been attending the caterpillar room since she was only 9 months old and theres no doubt that her experience there has helped her develop so much more in the last 7 months. Its hard to trust people with your baby, but I knew when i visited the setting by how happy and confident all the children were that it would be a good choice for us. The staff have been wonderful with her and she now feels very confident and happy there, so much so that she's not quite ready to leave when i pick her up, like theres still more she wants to do! The activities they set up are great and its lovely to know that my daughter has access to so many resources allowing her to be really creative! The staff have also been very helpful with me and all my new mum questions. I also must mention how the flexible hours have made it possible for me to return to work. Its not easy to offer such flexibility but they do it for the working parents. The 15 hours free childcare spread out over the week made it affordable and allowed me to earn an income.
