Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are particularly well supported. Staff with designated responsibilities ensure personalised plans are effectively shared across the staff team. Those staff with designated responsibilities, such as safeguarding and SEND, work with outside agencies where appropriate to identify and meet the needs of children requiring additional support.
Children have ample opportunities to be physically active and enjoy spending time outdoors.
My son has been attending for a little over a month and so far we are very happy, staff has been very involved and supportive with his transition. Communication has been very well and the managers are on top of everything. They hosted parents and children for a Christmas party recently and it was lovely.
Read on GoogleOur overall experience with this nursery was unfortunately below the expectations we had when enrolling our son. We encountered issues with poor management and a lack of clear communication, which made it difficult to feel fully confident in the way things were run. That said, we would like to sincerely thank Trish and Eugenia, two staff members who truly stood out. They were always kind, supportive, and attentive with our son, helping him feel safe and cared for. Their dedication made a real difference in his experience, and we’re very grateful for them. Advice to future parents: Make sure to request a hard copy of the terms and conditions when you register. In our case, we were surprised to learn that we had to pay for the entire month, even though our son’s last day was on the 7th — and from those 7 days, he only attended 3. This wasn’t clearly communicated to us in advance, and we feel this kind of information should be made more transparent from the beginning. While there are staff members who clearly care and do a great job, the nursery as a whole would benefit from better organization and clearer, more open communication with parents.
Read on GoogleLittle Explorers has been a transformative experience for my son. Starting as a toddler and transitioning to preschool, he made significant strides in his development, all thanks to the dedicated staff. The key person assigned to him on each level were both exceptional – a blend of care, patience, and the right amount of firmness. My son is clever but easily frustrated. At a previous nursery, a 'plan' was set for him to improve his behavior, casting worry over us. But the approach at Little Explorers was different, they focused on the positive, and they helped to build my son's confidence. The individual attention and warm pastoral care he received at Little Explorers have been pivotal in his growth and well-being. We will always be grateful for the positive impact they've had on our son's early educational journey.
