Inclusion & environment
Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is sound. Everybody is ambitious about their development and helping them to achieve the best possible outcomes. Children have individualised plans, which are well embedded to support their care and learning. Staff work alongside other professionals to help children reach their potential.
Children enjoy ample time outdoors. They happily navigate activities in the nursery garden. Children also enjoy regular outings to the local park, where they have opportunities to develop their physical skills further.
Having used the services of KidsOwn for over 10 years, I can only have praise and positive comments for the efforts they give in providing the children under their care, with the upmost attention at all times. They will go out of their way to ensure the children’s needs are met. The after school club is fantastic, ensuring the kids are entertained at all times.Trust is key. And I have all the trust in the world, in knowing my son is safe and well. A special mention to Charlotte, Louisa and Sunana, who always put the kids first and go above and beyond.
Read on GoogleFabulous Nursery. An absolutely wonderful nursery, which all three of my children have attended. It is owing to this that I can hand on heart say that Kidsown is an extremely lovely nursery, with a fantastic team of professional and caring staff, with a low level of staff turnover and dedicated key workers. Tanya in particular is a fantastic overall manager, and cares passionately about the children and their development. The staff are all very caring and professional, and the food cooked on the premises is outstanding. My youngest had a dairy allergy and they went to extreme lengths to ensure that not only was he safe, but that he had an alternative so that he didn't ever feel left out. Honestly there is a good reason they have been consistently been given an Ofsted Outstanding award, it's because they are!
Read on GoogleMy son has grown up to be the best he can be due to all the staff here. The support they show the parents is incredible. We moved further away from the nursery during my sons time here and I refused to change him to a nursery closer to our new home as its such an unbelievable place. Well done to Tanya for running a great nursery.
Read on GoogleUnlike one of the other reviewers, I never had issues with Tanya. My two daughters spent all their primary school years at Kidsown and were very happy and very well looked after there with staff who really cared about children.
Read on GoogleWe are very happy with this nursery. The staff are friendly and our little one couldn't be happier. The food is all homemade in the premises, and they have consistent tracking of their development, which gets communicated almost on a daily basis.
