What it's like to attend

• The provider and staff have effectively addressed weaknesses identified at the last inspection through training and effective staff deployment.
• Effective monitoring of staff ensures consistently good teaching quality and continuous improvement through reflection sheets.
• The curriculum is child-centred, continually building on children's skills and knowledge, leading to good progress and successful learning.
• Staff know children well, planning activities in line with their interests, such as introducing the life cycle of a caterpillar.
• A love of literacy is promoted throughout the nursery, strengthening communication and language skills across all age groups.
• Good hygiene practices, healthy snacks, and cooked meals benefit children, and daily routines help them understand transitions.
• Children demonstrate high levels of engagement in chosen activities and partake in a daily 'question of the day' to foster curiosity.
• The arrangements for safeguarding are effective, with all staff having robust knowledge and understanding, attending regular training, and holding appropriate qualifications in paediatric first aid.
