Little Robins Day Nursery, located in Birmingham, is part of a collection of privately owned childcare facilities committed to delivering exceptional standards of care and education for children aged 0 to 5 years. The nursery aims to create a secure environment where children feel confident to develop their individual potential.
Their learning programme is designed around "in the moment planning," aligning with the latest changes to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The nursery offers a progressive learning experience as children grow, with dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, each with age-appropriate furniture, stimulating environments, and staff-to-child ratios.
Emphasis is placed on hands-on observation and encouraging children's interests rather than extensive paperwork. They also partner with parents by providing shared learning journeys and downloadable tools to keep them connected to their child's experience.
Funded childcare options are available, including government two-year funding and 30-hour funding.

This nursery has been incredible for my son. The staff are kind, patient, and truly dedicated to helping each child thrive. They create such a warm and nurturing environment, and the difference we’ve seen in his learning and development has been huge. He’s gained confidence, made friends, and learned so many new skills. The team are always professional and organised, with excellent communication and care. They’re very on top of everything, which gives us complete trust in them. Choosing this nursery was one of the best decisions we made. I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend to any family.
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with this nursery. Both of my children have attended, and one still does, and the kindness, care, and support shown by the staff have been outstanding. They are incredibly nurturing, patient, and always willing to help—not just the children, but parents too. My children have loved going each day, which says everything. They’ve thrived here, growing in confidence, skills, and happiness. It’s clear the children are genuinely cared for and encouraged to be their best. We’re so grateful for the positive impact this nursery has had on our family and would highly recommend it.
Read on GoogleGreat nursery with great staff! My son loved it and now my daughter has started and she loves it just as much, she is thriving and has made such progress since attending. I can clearly see how the staff pour their heart into their work. Highly recommend!
Read on GoogleMy son moved to the nursery under exceptional circumstances with his previous one, the staff were incredibly understanding about the situation and my anxieties and helped with the transition. Since that point, my son has developed a lovely bond with the team, and his development is very positive. The rooms are warm, educational and well staffed. The communication via the app is all done well. Would recommend to anyone considering.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has attended since she was 8 months old, progressing through baby room, nursery and now preschool. The setting is absolutely great for the kids and they’re taken care of by excellent staff. Couldn’t have chosen a better care provided than little robins!
