Inclusion & environment
The leadership team has put an ambitious educational programme in place to promote children's learning. This includes working effectively in partnership with outside agencies and parents to help to ensure all children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive good support.
In the outside area, children playfully make up stories about minibeasts and share their ideas with others. Practitioners engage children in ring games in the outdoor area. They encourage children to feel the bark on trees and explore sounds by banging sticks on paths and trees.
Very friendly and welcoming nursery. I helped them remove old school things and the staff were organised, kind and appreciative. You can really feel that they care about the children and the environment. A lovely place with a positive atmosphere. Highly recommended
Read on GoogleCouldn't speak more highly of Little Village Nursery School. They are warm and welcoming, and show such dedication and care to the children who go there. They have a diverse and expansive range of activities - including local trips, growing herbs and vegetables in the garden, regular baking, weekly music sessions and in springtime, they even had eggs that hatched! Our daughter has absolutely loved her time there, and has really grown in confidence and also learnt so much since she started. Thank you to Shirlyn and all the incredible staff - keep on doing what you're doing!
Read on GoogleOur daughter thrived after switching from a big chaotic nursery to this lovely, intimate setting. Christine and Ola are fantastic, always greet you with a smile each day. The children take part in a variety of activities from baking and painting to nurturing baby chicks. Wonderful choice in Forest Hill
Read on GoogleLovely friendly and caring nursery. They always have interesting activities for the children, our daughter loves the musician who comes on a Wednesday, she also loved watching the chick eggs hatch! Really lovely garden and rooms. The staff are really caring and my daughter has loved it. She is going to school in September
Read on GoogleHonestly couldn't ask for a better nursery! Such a fun, varied, intimate, caring, creative environment for little people, our son absolutely loves it. The staff really care about the children you can just tell, and it really does feel like a family! They have forest school every other Tuesday, 'music nile' on Wednesdays, yoga, offsite visits like to the horniman, and so many different creative activities. We're often picking up baked goods to take home too! It's brilliant and we feel incredibly lucky our son goes there, particularly as he was going to a different nursery to begin with which wasn't nearly as good. This really is a cut above the rest ❤️
