Leaders and staff work closely with parents and carers to accurately assess children's starting points and identify the need for additional support at an early stage, addressing potential barriers to learning promptly. They also support parents in accessing further help for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, collaborating effectively with speech and language therapists and educational psychologists.
Outdoor space
Children benefit from regular access to a forest school, where they explore the natural environment and learn about the world around them. Leaders invite parents and carers to join forest school sessions to further support children's learning and development. Children also show a keen interest in their surroundings during outdoor exploration, noticing things like mushrooms and asking questions, which staff build upon effectively.
