The latest Ofsted inspection on 30th January 2024 rated Magical Moments as 'Good' in overall effectiveness, reflecting the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management. The experienced and skilled manager, along with the dedicated staff team, have developed a clear vision for children's learning.

An established key-person system fosters secure attachments, with staff building strong relationships through loving interactions during key parts of the day, such as care routines. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported at Magical Moments.

The experienced special educational needs coordinator acts swiftly to implement appropriate support, working closely with external professionals to share strategies. This collaborative approach ensures all children make good progress in their learning.

The nursery also promotes physical development outdoors, where children confidently use tricycles and balance bicycles, and are encouraged to collaborate and solve problems, such as mending their play den. Staff actively promote a love of books from an early age, offering a diverse collection for children to take home and enjoy with their families, alongside regular story times and easy access to books.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported. Staff work closely with a range of external professionals, sharing strategies to support the learning needs of children. The special educational needs coordinator is experienced and acts quickly to ensure appropriate support is in place. As a result, all children are making good progress.

Outdoor space

Children's physical development is promoted well. They confidently ride around the outdoor area on tricycles and balance bicycles. Staff encourage children to think for themselves and solve problems, for example, working together to mend their den.
