Inclusion & environment
Staff provide very tailored support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). They work closely with the local authority SEND coordinator to support parents, alongside other agencies. Recent training has enabled a member of staff to take on the specific role of SEND coordinator in the nursery, and children benefit from precise teaching plans and individualised support.
Children flourish in an inspirational environment that connects them with the natural world. Children relish the opportunities to take part in daily visits to the forest and develop excellent personal, social and emotional skills. They also develop excellent physical skills, for instance, by creating obstacle courses, pulling themselves up on rope swings, swinging on a tyre, and sliding down a muddy slope.
Such an amazing nursery, my son attends two days a week and always ask to go more when he isn’t. The staff are always polite and professional and you can tell they truly care and support for all the children. Alongside this nat goes out her way to support parents with there own business such as myself by involving them into the nursery and promoting as much as she can.

Read on GoogleLeaving your baby for the first time at nursery can be the most daunting experience...however, for the past 7 months I have left him at the nursery feeling so happy because I know what an amazing day he is going to have. From painting to exploring the outdoors starting at 12 months old he has grown and developed so much in such a short time. He is looked after with amazing care and attention by all of the staff but especially Katie & Evie who have been an absolute joy with him. I honestly couldn't recommend the nursery enough! I am thrilled he's there and so excited to watch him grow and develop further whilst having lots of fun over the next couple of years....I wish he could stay there for many years! Thank you all for being so wonderful...! The fact he smiles every time the door opens to drop him off and wants to carry on playing when I collect him is the best sign ever!
Read on GoogleMy little boy has attended the nursery for 3 years, he absolutely loves going and is the first place he asks to go when he wakes up in the morning. He has an amazing relationship with all the staff and talks about the girls at home. The nursery has a homely feel and the outdoor forest school classroom is amazing, such a unique learning environment that my son absolutely loves. The chickens and rabbits are a great addition to the nursery, my son loves looking after the animals as part of his day at nursery and is always excited to tell me there is eggs waiting at the front door that we can take home! The communication from the staff is fantastic, always providing updates throughout the day with all the amazing activities my son is involved in and letting me know how he is. The staff really connect with my son’s interests and link these and his home life into activities at nursery. A huge thank you to Katie R, Chloe, Naomi, Stacey and Katie S, all my sons special ladies on the preschool room.
