About this day nursery

Maldon Court Nursery, part of Maldon Court Preparatory School, values each child as an individual, fostering a love for learning and encouraging them to achieve their full potential. The nursery aims to create confident and happy children, well-prepared for their next educational steps, including 11+, scholarships, and specialist school entry.

The curriculum is designed to be stimulating and promote independent learning. The institution upholds traditional values of kindness, respect, and courtesy, while also actively promoting fundamental British values such as democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect, and tolerance of diverse faiths and beliefs within both local and wider communities.

Admissions to the nursery cater to children aged 1-3 years old, with criteria considering siblings already attending the preparatory school. Children must successfully complete an induction visit to secure a place, followed by an acceptance fee and signing of the school's terms and conditions.

The Pre-Reception programme offers sessional flexibility, though full-day attendance is encouraged to prepare children for Reception class and allow them to take full advantage of the daily timetable. Maldon Court Preparatory School prides itself on promoting equal opportunities for all pupils regardless of their background or any disabilities and aims to provide tailored support for children with special educational needs, in consultation with relevant specialists and agencies.
