This place is incredible! The surroundings area is gorgeous and then the site itself is wonderful. Ran by passionate staff and impressive cooks, the whole vibe is brilliant. The awesome activities, green ethos and farm to fork elements tip this above and beyond what's available elsewhere.

My 12 year old daughter spent a week at Mill on the Brue in July 2025, her first time at a summer camp. She ended up having the best time and making lovely friends and memories ( bonus, screen free!), she had great fun at the activities and didn’t complain about food - being normally extremely fussy. She is now asking to return every year, thanks for an amazing experience Mill on the Brue!

A fantastic place to visit for activity camps. We booked as a group with parents and children to make up for them missing their Y6 residential. It was fantastic. Kyle and Katherine were brilliant at encouraging the children and organising the activities. The site is well set up. Tents are available for 2 or up to 4 people although you could fit 5 at a squeeze. The 'lambing barn' provided shelter and a fridge/electric points. Washrooms and toilet blocks are next to the camping field. Would benefit from a sink in the lambing barn. Kids had an awesome time, thank you!

We had a fantastic time at the residential activity centre over the long weekend. There was a great variety of activities to keep everyone engaged, and the highlight for us was definitely the canoeing – so much fun and really well run. The only thing that could be improved is the number of bathrooms; a few more would definitely make things more comfortable. Overall, a great experience!

My kids had an absolute blast during their week’s summer camp. Despite only being 8, they didn’t experience any homesickness, bonded with kids of all ages and stuck in to a packed schedule of brilliant fun. They returned home with a real vigor + a stench that takes a few washes!. Highly recommend Mill on The Brue. It’s run by a wonderful team and set in a beautiful part of the country. We will definitely be sending our kids again next year.
