How they support every child

SEND provision

There are agreed strategies in place to support babies and toddlers in their communication and language development. For instance, staff have received basic training in using simple sign language. However, the agreed strategies are not consistently used across the nursery. This means that babies and toddlers are less likely to be able to communicate their needs and thoughts with others.

Outdoor space

Babies enjoy playing in the garden. Toddlers focus well as they play in the water tray with one another and staff.

Our son has been at Monkey Puzzle almost a year now, and we’re so happy we chose this nursery. He started quite young and the team were so supportive and showed him so much care from day 1. The teachers are amazing and they do so many outings and creative activities with the children, they’re constantly introducing them to new things. He’s learnt so much at nursery and it’s a very nurturing, calm environment for our son.

We withdrew our baby after four days due to repeated care and management issues. We experienced unclear and changing carers, information that did not match what was recorded in the app, a wrong milk brand being given on day two, hygiene routines not followed as described, belongings going missing daily, and very limited meal variety. We also had billing confusion despite asking in advance for confirmation that payment would be handled via the signed direct debit form. Overall, the lack of consistency and attention to detail meant we did not feel this was a safe, reliable environment for a baby.

We are having such a great experience at this Nursery. Our daughter Aurora loves it,she made so many improvements, she now walks and talks, made friends and she is always happy to go to nursery and come back home with a smile.All the member of the stuff are really kind and present for the children, is easy to talk to them and communication is always been incredible and transparent. So happy we choose it as our nursery for Aurora

I cannot speak highly enough of the amazing team at MP. Our little boy has had the best time here and we are truly devastated that we are moving and will have to find a new nursery. They have really big shoes to fill. Cayden and the team here are fantastic! Highly recommend.

We have been so pleased with Monkey Puzzle Stoke Newington since joining in February. It is a beautiful, well presented space and they ensure all the days are filled with fun activities from messy play to outdoor trips. The food menu is fantastic with high quality ingredients. The staff are wonderful with the children and our daughter skips in happily in the morning and is full of joy when collected. Would definitely recommend.
