Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress across all areas of the curriculum. The key-person system provides targeted opportunities and support to help children with SEND achieve their next steps.
Physical development is well promoted through both indoor and outdoor exploration. Children jump, balance, dance and confidently ride bikes, demonstrating increasing coordination and control. Practitioners talk about mathematical concepts such as size and quantity during snack time and outdoor play.
Absolutely fantastic nursery. My daughter has been here for over a year now and the quality of care and education she’s receiving is outstanding. The staff are kind, caring and very supportive of us as a family, and the children seem really happy there. The fact that it’s a large nursery building with two gardens and fantastic facilities is an added bonus. It’s a lovely, quiet location but is only about 2 minutes walk from Rectory Rd station, so very convenient for people working in the city. Thoroughly recommend and wish I’d found it sooner!
Read on GoogleWe feel incredibly lucky that our twins can go to this wonderful nursery. The atmosphere is so uplifting with a huge light-flooded room and a lot of space to explore, something very hard to find in other nurseries in Stoke Newington we looked at several and none have the same sense of space and light. The teachers are a lovely team that have worked together for a long time and clearly enjoy coming to work. They made it very easy for our twins to settle in with the key person visiting the kids at our house before starting at nursery to make them feel more comfortable. It’s amazing to see how much they have developed after only a few months in this nursery and the positive change it had on their little characters (and the outstanding manners they suddenly have!). We are very grateful and can’t recommend this nursery more.
Read on Google3 of my 4 sons attended this nursery, it gave them the best start to life and they all left and started Reception ahead of their class. My last child that attended is on the spectrum, which they spotted and helped tremendously when it came to getting him diagnosed. I love Hackney care 4 kids, and while working literally never worried about my children. ALL of my boys were happy there, always wanted to attend. My youngest still wants to go back and visit and he is 8 years old now. He still loves and remembers his favourite teacher, who just happened to be one of the teachers when my sons in their 20's attended. The teachers genuinely seem to love their pupils and it shows by how happy all the kids seem when you go in. On a whole, its an amazing community nursery and I always tell friends with small children about it. Even when I lived as far away as Enfield, I commuted to the nursery as I had peace of mind when my children attended there. I can't thank Hackney Care 4 Kids enough, staff both past and present ❤️
Read on GoogleI sent my son to this nursery, and it’s honestly been such a wonderful experience from the very beginning. The staff are incredibly warm, caring, and dedicated they’ve made him feel safe, happy, and excited to come in every day. I’ve been so impressed by the variety of fun, creative, and educational activities, as well as the healthy, nutritious meals they provide. He’s grown so much in confidence and curiosity during his time there. He was even sad to leave his room lead when it was time to move on to primary school a true reflection of the loving bonds and positive impact the nursery has had on him. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to his learning journey!
Read on GoogleMy daughter attended this nursery and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine warmth and care from the staff. They are incredibly kind, attentive, and passionate about what they do. Over her time there, my daughter developed beautifully — not just in her learning, but in her confidence and independence too. It’s clear the environment is both nurturing and stimulating, with activities tailored to help little ones grow and thrive. She absolutely loved going in every day and would come home full of stories and smiles. As a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is in such loving and capable hands. I’m truly grateful for everything the nursery has done for her. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a safe, caring, and enriching place for their child.
