I am sharing this review so other parents can make a fully informed decision and avoid unexpected challenges and difficulties like those I experienced. I chose this nursery after careful research because I believed it offered a forest-school style environment, with learning through nature and exploration which my daughter enjoys. I later realised that I registered her before speaking to other parents I knew or reading reviews from families who had raised serious concerns, which I now regret. I also noticed after enrolling that many of the positive reviews online appeared to relate to a period before the current management took over, which is something I wish I had been aware of earlier. Due to my disability and the fact that the nursery does not provide transportation, I had to arrange private daily drop-off and pick-up at a cost of £40 per day. Despite this significant commitment, my daughter attended part-time for only four weeks, and this experience has been one of the most disappointing decisions I have made for her. From early on, I felt uncomfortable with standards around cleanliness and daily care. The setting often appeared untidy, and my daughter repeatedly came home very hungry, which concerned me as a parent and made me question whether her daily needs were being met consistently. On several occasions, my daughter also returned home wet from outdoor play without being changed, which I raised in writing. I did not feel these concerns were taken seriously or addressed in a reassuring way. On two occasions, I attended pick-up unexpectedly and observed children playing outdoors with what I personally felt was insufficient supervision. On one of those days, my daughter showed me a visible scratch. I raised this at the time, but the response from staff felt dismissive, and no reassurance or explanation was offered. On the same occasion, another child was wearing my daughter’s wellies while my daughter was visibly upset and complained to me about it. I waited for the key worker to intervene rather than stepping in myself, but no action was taken. This added to my concerns about responsiveness to children’s needs. One of the most distressing aspects of my experience was the nursery’s involvement in court matters relating to my daughter during an ongoing and highly sensitive family situation. I later learned that the nursery had been in contact with third parties and with my daughter’s father regarding her circumstances, without me being clearly informed in advance of the scope, purpose, or nature of these communications. As a parent, I expected transparency, clear boundaries, and proper documentation when discussions concerned my child. Instead, explanations were provided only after the fact, and I was not given written records or detailed information despite requesting clarity. Given the seriousness of the situation and the potential impact such communications can have on decisions affecting a child, this lack of openness significantly undermined my trust. After raising concerns, I also lost access to the nursery’s parenting app, which meant I could no longer view or track the issues I had previously reported. This further contributed to my concerns around communication and transparency. Another concern was the high turnover of staff over a very short period. Within the few weeks my daughter attended, there were multiple staffing changes, and I continued to receive emails notifying parents of further changes even after we left. Overall, the combination of cleanliness concerns, supervision issues, staff turnover, limited transparency, and the nursery’s involvement in sensitive family matters without clear parental inclusion caused me to lose confidence in the setting. --- Update following their response: I was unable to reply directly here; clarification will be shared on Facebook. Absolutely fantastic pre school My son attends school here and loves it he has settled in so well and has made friends. We are always welcomed and staff are extremely supportive, helping and understanding in all aspects of my child’s journey. I’m extremely happy with my son’s progress and the safety of my son’s wellbeing. I would highly recommend.

Our son has thrived at this nursery! When he started, the staff quickly identified his interests to help him settle. We were immediately impressed with how staff at pick up would update us with what our son has been up to, what he enjoys doing, including little anecdotes and examples! A real personal touch that shows how much attention they pay to the children! We appreciated how quick they were to identify areas for development in our son’s speech when he started. They immediately shared with us how they planned to support him in this with exercises and activities during his time at the nursery, and how we could also support him at home. Our son has discovered a love for nature during their regular adventures in the forest, and his confidence has increased in interacting with larger groups of children. One of his favourite games to play at home is ‘nursery’ where he gets to share the key parts of his day with us! A real testament to how much he enjoys his time at My Little Angels! I cannot recommend this nursery enough and am so grateful for how well they are supporting our son!

As a parent, finding the perfect place for our child to learn, grow, and be nurtured was of utmost importance. My Little Angels Day Nursery has proven to be that place, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our child here. This loving and nurturing environment has given our child the opportunity to truly flourish, and we're delighted to share our experience. At his previous nursery, our child was regressing - he was better off at home. We then decided to move him to My Little Angels Day Nursery after visiting 4 to 5 nurseries in the area. Within a few months, he was a completely different child. He is happy, confident, and engaged. He is learning new things every day, and his development is progressing at a rapid pace. Our child has been with the nursery for a year and a half now and I can confidently say that he is ready for school. We are forever grateful to the staff at My Little Angels Day Nursery for giving him the best start in life.

Absolutely cannot recommend this nursery/play school enough!! I am so thankful that I chose this nursery for my 2 year old as she adores going here - even asks me if she can go on weekends! I am so grateful to all the staff for being so welcoming and nurturing. My daughter benefits so much from going here and learns so much whilst having the best fun. There's always something going on from visits from reptile petting zoos to visits from the police, singing companies children's authors and themed parties. The children often get to go on nature walks which for my child who is extremely outdoorsy, is great. My daughter talks about how much she loves all the staff all the time and she has made some great friends. Would give this nursery more than 5 stars if I could, best choice I've made for my daughter and will be choosing it again for 1 year old as soon as she turns 2.
