Newlife Nursery and Preschool is located in Plymouth and provides care for children from birth to four years old. It operates from 8am to 6pm on weekdays throughout the year and offers funded hours provision. At its inspection in April 2026, Ofsted judged the overall effectiveness of the nursery to be 'Good'.

The Ofsted inspector reported that the staff are kind and caring, forming warm relationships with the children, who arrive happily and feel secure. The curriculum is planned to be ambitious and broad for all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, with a focus on supporting independence. Children benefit from daily fresh air and outdoor physical activity. The inspector also noted that parents speak highly of the staff and feel fully involved in their children's learning.

What it's like

The provider and staff are kind and caring and form warm relationships with children. Children arrive happily and look forward to the day ahead. They enjoy their familiar routines and feel safe and secure. Staff are good role models and encourage children to share and cooperate during play. The provider and staff plan an ambitious and broad curriculum for all children, including children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities. Books are easily accessible throughout the nursery, encouraging children to curl up with a book or enjoy stories during story time.
