Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The manager and practitioners work closely with external agencies to seek support and advice for children who need extra support. Practitioners monitor children's learning closely, and when they identify any gaps, they use the knowledge they already have to support children. Management makes timely referrals and liaises with parents to ensure that children receive the support they need to help them make the best possible progress. Supportive strategies are in place to enable children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) to develop to their full potential.

Outdoor space

Children have access to outdoor space with a range of equipment, such as bicycles, push-along toys, and balancing beams, benefiting from fresh air and opportunities to explore moving in different ways.

EAL / language support

Recent training has enabled staff to implement an effective curriculum to support those children learning English as an additional language.

Both my son and my daughter have loved attending this nursery and this is mostly down to the attentiveness of the lovely ladies who work there. I have experienced such a positive development in my children whilst in their care and could not ask for better for them. They have always been happy and excited to go to Nursery as they enjoy it so much there. It's the perfect little setting in our local community.

My son has been going to Old Sarum Nursery since January and absolutely loves it! I couldn't ask for a nicer setting and all of the staff are excellent! I have noticed the vast improvement in his speech development in such a short space of time which is reassuring. I also hope to send my youngest there in future.
