How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff provide careful support to children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) and those who may be vulnerable and need further support. They identify delays in children's development at an early stage and set clear targets to help address them. Staff work very closely with the children's parents, carers and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists. They use additional funding well to support children's immediate and longer-term needs.

Outdoor space

Children learn to increasingly recognise and control their own risks as they play. For example, children know how to safely manage the large and exciting climbing, crawling and sliding structures in the well-developed outdoor areas.

Once Upon a Time Nursery has been amazing—supportive, caring staff who've helped my son grow tremendously. He’s loved every moment, and we’re both sad to leave. Thank you to everyone who supported us this past year, without you all he wouldn't be where he is now.

My boy looks forward to going and comes home content and exhausted. Couldn't ask more from a staff responsible for the care of my most precious. They have done everything I'd expect and a considerable amount beyond in the care and advancement of my son. The establishment is in a fair state of repair, parking and access is good, outdoor play areas, excellent security, good facilities. Daily app update and pictures
