About this day nursery

Lime Tree Nursery is a family-operated childcare provider with seven locations across Rotherham, Barnsley, and North Notts, offering care for children from birth to five years old. The nursery focuses on creating a "home from home" atmosphere, integrating families into its early years approach.

They follow The Curiosity Approach, fostering an inclusive, child-led environment that builds upon children's interests, knowledge, and skills to prepare them for school and beyond. The curriculum encourages learning through play, nurturing each child's unique personality and curiosity.

The nursery utilises rich environments with open-ended and authentic resources instead of traditional toys, promoting problem-solving, imagination, and flexible play. " The nursery also emphasises providing children with essential life skills, a sense of belonging, self-independence, confidence, and the ability to demonstrate kindness.

They strive to create an environment where curiosity, awe, and wonder lead to enjoyable and enriching experiences.

My daughter loves this nursery She is so happy and has every single one of her needs met by the staff. The activities are exciting and fresh and I get to see everything she has done via the app they provide- from observation, to when her nappy was changed, what shes eaten, how long shes slept and what's shes been up to that day. They definitely put my child and all the.childrens need first.
