Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities effectively. Staff quickly identify children who need more help. They put effective strategies in place to support children's learning and development. The team works in close partnership with parents and outside agencies. Staff use any additional funding well to support children's individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy playing outdoors. However, opportunities for them to be in the fresh air are limited to short set times. Staff do not make the best use of the garden so that children benefit from wider and more consistent learning opportunities outside each day.

EAL / language support

The nursery supports children who are learning English as an additional language.

Cannot recommend Orchard Lea enough…both my sons attended this nursery and they really enjoyed their time here. The staff are all so lovely and many of them looked after both of my children during their time at the nursery, which I think says a lot when the staff stay so long. Orchard Lea helped them grow and learn so much, with lots of confidence and some truly beautiful friendships made. Thank you Orchard Lea!

An excellent nursery, which I highly recommend. My daughter was here for 3 years and the staff go over and above their duties to deliver an exceptional service. My daughter was well looked after and all her needs were met, whilst being encouraged to develop (and thrive) at every stage. The manager is also very supportive to parents and understanding - I cannot thank them enough.

Great nursery and staff. Our son loved it here. Whoever left the 1 * review has a serious chip on their shoulder and some grudges to bear in all her reviews it seems.
