Elms Private Day Nursery, located in Blackburn, provides care for children aged 0-4 years. 30am to 6pm, closing only for one week in July and one at Christmas.

This childcare setting offers a homely and welcoming environment where children enjoy their time, feeling safe and secure due to the friendly and nurturing staff. The managers and their team have developed a curriculum that focuses on children's interests and their developmental next steps.

Staff have developed effective partnerships with other professionals. These help to provide a consistent approach to meeting children's needs, particularly those who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

Outdoor space

The environment both indoors and outside is regularly considered. Through reflective practice and purposeful evaluation, further improvements to the outdoors areas are planned. Staff ensure that children get plenty of fresh air regardless of the weather.
