Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents speak highly of the nursery and how happy their children are to attend.
They praise the 'incredible' support they receive from the staff team for the whole family.
Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are generally well supported. Staff work closely with parents and outside agencies to get them the individualised support they require. However, on occasion, staff lack the confidence to implement strategies consistently to provide children with SEND with the support they need to make continuous progress.
Babies and toddlers develop their physical skills as they climb steps and slopes, and older children learn to take safe risks when they climb large equipment in the garden. Staff are close by to support them and discuss the importance of being safe while climbing.
Saying goodbye to Partou Hucclecote (The Little People Day Nursery for us OG's!) Was so hard, after enrolling our eldest with them back in 2019. From the very beginning the staff have cared and nurtured for our 2 daughters with such warmth and dedication. Not only have they looked after our little ones, they have also supported us as parents as we navigated all the joyful highs and wobbly lows parenting 2 kids can bring. We knew we could walk through the front door and be met with reassurance and unwavering support. We don't have a lot of family support around us, and the support that we do have is not particularly close by. To have the staff and managers step in to close that gap, quietly and delicately further cemented to us that we had chosen exactly the right setting - for the whole family. What the team have created here is truly special, a place where children are celebrated, inspired and nurtured - and parents are supported throughout also. Our youngest has just graduated this Summer and already misses her friends, and we feel very much the same. We are so glad we chose you.
Read on GoogleMy son has been attending for almost a year and he loves the staff and the activities. He has come along so much since he started. His communication and manners are fantastic and I think the nursery has played a big part of that. The staff communicate with you the parents daily so don’t miss a thing on your child’s learning journey. He couldn’t be in better hands.
Read on GoogleExcellent nursery, well run and lovely caring staff. My daughter has been there for 3 years and each room has been educational and kept her busy all day. Would highly recommend.
Read on GoogleWe absolutely love Little People Day Nursery, and couldn't be happier to send our daughter here. She was originally with a childminder from about 10months old which did not work out and we were nervous to swap to a nursery when she turned one but we needn't have worried. LP quickly felt like a home from home, our daughter is so happy when she realises it's a nursery day, she trots in happily and excitedly to see her friends and keyworkers without a second glance to us - which shows me how comfortable she is. The staff have all been faultless, they care and nurture for her just as we would and are so attentive to her needs and interests, incorporating her favourite things into daily activities while also giving her the confidence to try new things. They offer a fab variety of nutritious meals and our daughter has become much more adventurous with the foods she tries at home as a result, I no longer have to make separate dinners! (They've also been brilliant at accommodating her dairy Intolerance). Tapestry is a great app thay the staff use to let us know what she's been upto and there's a very collaborative approach to include parents and sharing how we can support our daughter and the staff when she's learning something new which I love. The biggest compliment I can give, is that I never worry about her when I'm at work because I know she's happy, and that peace of mind is worth more than you know. It's an excellent nursery and great value, I only wish we found you sooner.
Read on GoogleMy daughter loves going to nursery here! The staff are always professional and listen to and support parents.
