Outdoor space
Children enjoy rolling plastic hoops down the hill in the garden, running after them, collecting them, and running back up the hill. Younger children excitedly play with different-sized balls, practising throwing and kicking them, which helps them develop large muscle groups and improve stability. Children also spend long periods practising how to use balance bicycles and pedal bicycles, thrillingly riding them down the hill with speed, while staff teach them to slow down and stop safely.

Very happy with our nursery. Our boy loves it there and the staff are great. Settling in was a challenge for our son but the team at Lancaster Ave were extremely patient and supported us along the way. Thank you 🙏🏼

Completely satisfied of Partou Lancaster Avenue nursery so far. The team is careful, competent and focused on the children's needs. Communication with parents is good with direct feedbaks, photos and reports. Most importantly, our son is always happy to attend and play with the teachers and the other children. Totally recommended.

The team at Nelly’s Lancaster are warm, caring, professional and know our little boy very well. He clearly loves his time there and has a very special bond with his key worker, and all the staff. Communication is excellent and we receive regular photos and progress updates daily. We feel lucky to have found such a caring nursery, where our boy is so settled.

A brilliant nursery. We were lucky enough to have a really exceptional key person looking after our 3 year old, but all of the staff we encountered at Nelly’s Lancaster Avenue were lovely, enthusiastic and impressive at what they do. Our son really thrived there. We would recommend the nursery without hesitation or reservation.

I absolutely love Nelly’s Nursery. They are always understanding and accommodating to my daughter’s needs. Zoe has lots a friends at the nursery and seems to have clicked with all members of staff. Even though I’ve moved out of the area I chose to keep my daughter at Nellys because she has settled so much
