About this day nursery

Precious Tots Nursery, an OFSTED registered, family-operated establishment, has been dedicated to delivering top-tier childcare within the community for over fifteen years. Located in the residential area of Leyton, E10, the nursery offers a nurturing "home from home" setting where children from 4 months to 5 years of age can learn, play, and grow.

The facility features bright, stimulating, and self-contained as well as interconnecting rooms for versatile play, alongside a secure outdoor garden and play area. An in-house qualified cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals daily, catering to various dietary needs.

Precious Tots is easily accessible, situated near public transport links. The nursery operates from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, throughout the year, with exceptions for bank holidays and Christmas.

Our daughter has been going to Precious Tots for 4 months and absolutely loves it. She has bonded well with many members of staff. Initially, we couldn't decide between a nursery or a childminder for our baby but now feel that Precious Tots offers the best of both worlds with its smaller setting. They do lots of fun and creative activities and keep us up to date with what they've been doing. Our baby has bonded well with adults and loves opportunities for mixed age play with the older children. Communication is really good and we feel that our daughter is not just looked after but really cared for. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Our daughter has been going to Precious Tots for a year now and absolutely loves the nursery and all the staff. The environment is so friendly and personal, and the level of care and communication is excellent. The children have so much fun and love the staff, who are very kind and love their jobs. They regularly take the children out for trips to places in the local area to learn more about what is around them. I would strongly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for caring, friendly and creative childcare. We took our eldest child a different, much bigger, nursery where the level of care was much less personal. I can safely say that the small, family feel of Precious Tots is so much better.

Precious Tots is an excellent nursery and we are delighted with the level of care shown towards our daughter. Our daughter started in the baby room a few months ago when she was 13 months old. Despite being very anxious as a parent to leave her for the first time, the staff settled her in really well and sent us lots of updates. She settled in perfectly and loves being dropped off. Every day the staff organise arts and craft activities, reading stories, musical instruments and outdoor play. The staff are always incredibly positive and upbeat and I am very grateful! Two of our daughter have been to Precious Tots and our youngest is still there. We are so happy with the care received. My elder child started in the January before starting school and I was so impressed by everything she learnt in those eight months. She is now thriving at school and I am sure a big part of that is the way that Precious Tots helped prepare her for school. Our youngest child has been there from ten months and absolutely adored the staff in the baby room. She is now in toddler room and her speech and understanding of the world is developing day by day. The staff are lovely! They are kind and fun and have the children’s best interests at heart.

I want to say it loud and proud, Precious Tots and every staff member past and present are incredible! Gillian and the management team’s ethos and efforts are outstanding. Our son went to Precious Tots and we witnessed so much amazing care and love for him from all the staff as we passed through the three stages of the nursery system - baby, toddler, pre-school. Our son’s interests were always met and nurtured - artistically, musically, reading, writing, numbers, craft, origami, messy play. Our son was incredibly prepared and positioned for a transition to reception year at school thanks mainly to the amazing team at Precious Tots — thank you! x He loved Precious Tots and we loved the community of staff and parents that we met there, many we are still friends with now. Testament to our positivity for the setting, we now have our second child at Precious Tots who couldn’t be happier there with many similar staff faces but some excellent newer members too. From all four of us, thanks you! x
