Inclusion & environment
How they support every child
SEND provision
Since the last inspection, additional support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities has been secured. However, weaknesses remain in curriculum implementation, and children are not always actively engaged in learning, partly due to frequent room changes without a learning purpose. Children with SEND seek comfort from staff, which supports their feelings of security and emotional wellbeing. Staff typically respond sensitively to the needs of children with SEND and model language that supports children in recognising their own feelings and those of their peers. There are some effective adaptations and adjustments in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities that help them to become involved in activities. For example, staff make good use of the sensory room to soothe children and help them regulate their emotions. Overall, staff identify concerns about children and initiate sensitive conversations with parents. This helps families to access external services that children with SEND may benefit from.
Outdoor space
Outside, children develop physical skills, expertly manoeuvring two-wheeled scooters and climbing a low-level bridge. Their imagination flourishes with mud kitchen play and language skills develop through collaborative play, though staff do not always fully seize opportunities to challenge them further.

My child has been attending Precious Wings since last January. I am very happy with the service provided. Staff have been very caring towards my child and I have always been kept informed about my child’s needs and progress. I will continue to use this childcare service in the future and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nursery for their child.

My child Anaya has picked up a lot learning and playing the staff treat as if their own child and makes my daughter feel as there her own mom the communication aswell as service is top nothing to doubt here best play group for our local very satisfied with there work and staff a absolute stars they deserve there hard work means alo thanks precious wings for you dedication and love
