The day nursery received an overall rating of Good from Ofsted at its inspection in February 2023. The inspector found that children are confident, independent, and eager to explore activities based on their interests.

Ofsted reported that the staff plan an ambitious curriculum with a strong focus on communication, language, and mathematics. Children have regular opportunities to play outdoors, using equipment for climbing, sliding, and balancing, as well as riding bicycles. The report noted that staff work together to identify and support children with additional needs, adapting activities to ensure all children can make good progress. Parents commented to the inspector that communication is effective and that children are treated as individuals.

Children arrive with excitement to see their friends. They are eager to explore the day's activities, and swiftly become engaged in their play. Children show high levels of confidence and independence. They benefit from an ambitious curriculum that provides all children with rich and varied learning experiences. Children's interests are of high importance at this nursery and, subsequently, children sustain interest in their play. They enjoy being imaginative and visit the 'vet', who x-rays their pets 'to make sure they are healthy'.

Pricing & funding

Fees are calculated on a weekly basis for the 48 weeks the nursery is open, with no charges during the four weeks of seasonal closures. Fees include daily care, snacks, and meals, but exclude nappies, wipes, formula, and extracurricular activities. Funding is available for eligible three and four-year-olds.
