About this day nursery

The Meadows Nursery Schools, established in 1988 by Valerie and Ron Cossey, have grown from a single part-time school to six locations across Eastbourne, Hailsham, Hastings, Northfleet (Ebbsfleet), and Morden/Rosehill, collectively caring for over 500 children weekly. Valerie Cossey, with a background as a childcare development officer, instilled a passion for childcare and child development into the nurseries' foundation.

The schools emphasise creating calm, welcoming environments with engaging playrooms and gardens, offering a variety of activities using natural and everyday resources. In 2008, Valerie and Ron’s son, Glynn, joined the family business, continuing to evolve the learning approaches while upholding the core values of early years care and education.

The Meadows Nurseries focus on ensuring children's enjoyment and overall well-being, fostering a comfortable and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive.
