Rosedene Ormesby Day Nursery & Childcare, established in 2006, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years (and up to 11 years for Holiday Club). Located within the Greater Eston Family Hub, near Overfields Primary School, the nursery focuses on child-led learning and the Curiosity Approach, integrating the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through engaging, hands-on experiences with natural resources.

The dedicated and highly qualified team at Rosedene Ormesby prioritises each child's individual needs, fostering their growth and development. The nursery values strong partnerships with parents to ensure children feel safe, happy, and confident as they prepare for school and lifelong learning.

They also provide school pick-up/drop-offs for Overfields Primary School and St. Gabriel’s Primary School, offer beach and forest school sessions, and provide healthy meals and snacks prepared on-site. The nursery operates 51 weeks a year, from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children's speech and language are well supported. Staff use everyday, real experiences to promote children's language. For example, children explore real fruit and vegetables, and staff use these opportunities to name food and talk about what they smell and taste like, helping to introduce children to new language.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy being outdoors. They test their physical skills by moving in various ways, such as balancing and digging. Children independently choose whether they want to be indoors or outside.
