About this day nursery

A holiday scheme is also provided. The nursery offers funded early education for two-, three-, and four-year-old children.

The team comprises five childcare staff members, with one holding a level 6 qualification and four at level 3. Children at Rougham Acorns and Woodlands develop strong relationships with staff, displaying confidence and independence as they explore the playroom and outdoor areas.

They engage in imaginative play, develop physical skills, and learn about the natural world, including visits to the school field and a local church for story time, fostering a sense of community. How they support every child

Outdoor space

Children thoroughly enjoy playing in the outdoor area. They practise their physical skills as they learn to use the climbing frame, slide and ride-on tractors. Children develop their coordination and balance skills and take appropriate risks. They climb the tree in the garden, navigating with their hands and feet as they make their way through the branches. Staff provide encouragement, praising them as they go along. Children enjoy regular trips to the school field, where they access wide open spaces to run.

We absolutely love my son's school. All of his teachers are amazing and have raised their own children in this school. We like that it is out in the country and they do fun things with the children like forest school and gardening. My son loves that he gets to do all sorts of messy crafts and play outside. We get weekly updates and photos online. They also put on all types of fun parties for the families as well. We love A&W!
