Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children with SEND are supported extremely well. Staff work closely with multi-agency professionals to ensure children receive the correct support. Managers and staff access training from outside agencies to meet the needs of all children. Children benefit from targeted one-to-one support, leading to good progress.

EAL / language support

Staff support children who speak English as an additional language very well by obtaining key words in their home languages for use during settling-in sessions and valuing these languages in the setting. Staff translate key words and match them to visual aids to help children understand and communicate their wishes, further aided by staff who speak the same home languages. However, occasionally using a home language to support children in the wrong context can cause interference with planned learning.

I was highly recommended this nursery from colleagues at work. My son has had a wonderful experience at St Pantelimon. It's a lovely space for my toddler to play and enjoy the garden space. The staff are so lovely and made my son's transition into nursery such a positive experience. He loves going and they have really supported his development since he joined St Panteleimon.

It has truly been a fantastic nursery – so loving and welcoming to both children and parents. The staff are so supportive and my child has loved being there and making their first steps into independence. There is a real balance between learning and play – and encouraging the children to grow both socially and academically as well as teaching them core life skills. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Many thanks from the heart for all your hard work, love, dedication and patience to the children When I pick him up, he is always playing happily and has a big smile on his face. We will look back on my sons time at St Panteleimon with fond memories. It’s a warm and loving environment and I think that’s reflected in the way that the kids interact with each other and the staff. I highly recommend it! We feel so lucky to have been able to secure a place and are so grateful to the team at St Panteleimon!

I have had three children attend this nursery school and i would recommend to anyone. They are family run, and they make you feel like part of the family too. The friendly staff create a lovely nurturing environment. They genuinely care for each child, providing personalised attention and fostering a close-knit community where everyone feels valued. All of my children have required additional support with their speech and language and the experienced staff go above and beyond to create individualised plans that address my child's unique challenges, working closely with specialists and dedicating time and patience to boost my children's confidence and communication skills. I really feel like they want the best for all children in their care and will go the extra mile to give them all the support and opportunities possible.
