Inclusion & environment
Leaders and staff work extremely hard to ensure all children get the support they need. Staff have developed close partnership working with other professionals, ensuring all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, have continued access to unique and specialist services.
Staff know that children need support with their communication and language skills. They model language well, sensitively talk to babies and toddlers to make sounds and copy words, and introduce older children to new words.
Our daughter has attended sky high for a little over 6 months now and settled straight away which we didn't think would happen. But care dedication and careful understanding really did make the difference. Every staff member has been warm, considerate and never seem in a rush. The manager is so welcoming, always gets hands on, replies quickly and will sit down with you at a minutes notice. We really do feel like part of a bug family Extras such as parties, activities outside of the every day and special days being made extra special are always in abundance. Pictures are always available and updates of the day are always regularly made. After having a poor experience of nurseries, Sky High has really made me feel confident that nursery is the best place for my child to develop and is certainly thriving.
Read on GoogleI cannot recommend this nursery enough. My little boy started here just over 8 months old and has thrived ever since. Every single staff member is extremely friendly and make you feel like part of their family. Management couldn’t be more helpful, they are approachable and free to support at all times. The baby room is absolutely gorgeous. They have transformed the space of their room into the most beautiful environment and nothing makes me feel more secure and comfortable than knowing my baby has such a lovely space to explore and feel settled and happy in during the day while I’m at work. As well as knowing that he is with the most nurturing staff members that treat him as if he were their own! Honestly, sky high achievers all the way! Only piece of advice id say to new customers is - go in and have a look round yourself, you will not be disappointed. X
Read on GoogleBeing a parent to a child with multiple allergies, I was extremely nervous and anxious about sending my little boy to nursery. I waited until he was 15 months old to start, and after settling in at Sky High, I wish I had started him sooner. The manager, Suzanne, was absolutely fantastic in reassuring me about all the policies and procedures they have in place for children with allergies. My son started in the baby room six months ago, and he has come on so much in terms of socializing and communication. All the staff at the nursery are extremely friendly, and my son has built up a really nice rapport with his key worker, Liv, and Lynette, who also works in the baby room.
Read on GoogleOur son (age 20 months) has been at sky high nearly a year now in the baby room. He absolutely loves it there and the staff are amazing - he loves his key worker and all the baby room staff. He learns and develops so much there, it’s a really nurturing environment and my daughter will be starting there next year too. Highly recommend
Read on GoogleMy son loves going to this nursery, as parents we think the nursery staff have a clear understanding and genuine caring nature for the children they look after. The bond that our child has with the nursery staff is fantastic. When our child first joined we were understandable anxious about him starting nursery however the staff made the transition as painless as possible & now he walks in (most days!) with no problem at all. Such a great atmosphere in the nursery & the children are always having such fun & making a lot of mess that they enjoy so much!!
