Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children who need additional help with speech and language, including those children learning English as an additional language, make very good progress. Staff model words and encourage babies and toddlers to make sounds and verbalise what they see to support their early language.

Outdoor space

Children have plenty of opportunities to be physically active. Outdoors, they use their bodies to twist, bend and stretch as they chase after bubbles, squealing with delight as they catch them.

Our daughter has just finished her time at this nursery and we couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful start it gave her. The staff were consistently warm, caring, and supportive, creating a nurturing environment where she felt safe and happy every day. She developed so much confidence, made lovely friendships, and was more than ready for the transition to school. We’ll always look back on her nursery years with such positivity – highly recommended to any parent!

From the very first day we dropped our little one off at just 10 months old, we knew we had found somewhere truly special. Now, almost four years later, as we say goodbye before starting school, we feel so proud and grateful to have been part of this wonderful nursery family. The staff have been nothing short of extraordinary – their care, attention, and dedication have shone through in everything they do. They haven’t just looked after our child; they have nurtured, encouraged, and celebrated every milestone along the way. From those first wobbly steps to blossoming into a confident, curious, and kind little girl, they have been there every step of the journey. Every day, we’ve been met with warm smiles, genuine interest in our child’s progress in and outside nursery, and a sense of reassurance that is priceless as a parent. The love and patience the team show is second to none, and the creativity they bring to learning and play has helped our child thrive both socially and academically. We are so proud to say our child has been a part of this nursery – it’s not just a place of learning, it’s been a safe, joyful, and inspiring second home. We cannot thank the staff enough for the exceptional care and the beautiful memories they have given us. This nursery will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

I would definitely recommend Smarty Pants nursery to any parent. My daughter has been there for almost 4 years now and it always felt like a safe second home for her there. She absolutely loves her teachers and it is so lovely to see the special bond that they have created. Lovely place and people.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. My son has attended for nearly two years and loves it. The staff are brilliant; they are so kind and caring towards the children and develop incredibly strong, positive relationships with them. They go above and beyond to support the children and ensure they are happy and feel safe. They come up with some wonderfully creative tasks to help aid the children's development and keep parents regularly updated. I currently have an 8 week old who I fully intend to send there.

This is a great nursery. The staff are lovely and they really care about the children. My daughter has made some great friendships there. She can be shy sometimes but she runs into nursery no problems without looking back at me! I know the staff are on hand to comfort her whenever she needs.
