What Mani has created with the Smile & Shine nursery is pure magic! They combine being nurturing with helping the children develop independence (in a playful, supported way). We love how much time the children spend outside and are always excited to hear what our son got up to any given day. Everyone there is so warm and lovely, and you can tell that they genuinely care about the children. The indoor setting is thoughtfully created to invite independent play, the activities they set up are so creative and the outdoor space is phenomenal! Some days our son needs serious persuasion to come back home with us.

My daughter has attended smile and shine from the day it opened and I could not be happier with her progress. There was a few administration bumps in the road around pricing but I put that down to I TV being a brand new nursery and can overlook the difficult communication around this at times. Sandra is my daughter’s key worker and we both absolutely adore her! She is the best! My daughter feels comfortable to go to Sandra about any of her needs and always leaves her with a big cuddle goodbye at the end of the day. Our smile and shine journey will soon come to and end as we move house in the new year and we know it will be impossible to find another Sandra but the time spent has done my daughter the world of good she has learnt so many social skills as well as milestone developmental skills and I’ve loved seeing her flourish. The WhatsApp group where photos of the children are sent daily and parents and staff can connect is a brilliant idea it keeps everyone in the loop and you feel closer to your child while they're not physically with you. Manni works hard to provide a safe happy functional environment for the children her hard work is evident and I’m grateful my daughter has had the opportunity to meet so many new friends and have an incredibly nurturing nursery experience. I’m a mum that probably had more separation anxiety than my daughter did and after visiting many nurseries this one felt like a home away from home, the staff look after the children as if they are their own I couldn’t be happier with our choice in nursery. We will miss Smile and Shine

Smile & Shine have been wonderful with our daughter, after a quick settling in period she has blossomed with her confidence and communication. We love how much time they spend outside, in their huge garden but also in forest school activities, and with their trips to the park on their doorstep. We would recommend this gentle, nurturing and caring Montessori nursery to all.

I’d give this nursery more stars if I could. Nurturing environment, lovely & caring staff, the outdoor area is immaculate, well thought out activities, their management is amazing! I can’t say enough good things about this nursery. Mani and the whole team are truly the best.

Smile and Shine first took care of my son in September 2019 kindly offering ad hoc childcare until I was more settled on my return to work and could confirm a regular childcare plan. My son has thrived in Mani and her teams care and has been very understanding and accommodating to every challenge the current pandemic we have faced as working parents and has proved to have the children in their cares best interests at heart throughout, suggesting activites, regular check ins via whats app and zoom calls. Our situation has changed and the location of smile and shine is no longer a viable childcare option for us and we have had to source in another area. I would not hesitate to recommend Mani & her team at Smile and Shine and completely agree with the outstanding ofsted certification they hold. Thank you again for taking such good care of our son.
