Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are optimally ready for their next steps in learning, including starting school. Children with SEND are supported very well. Staff work hard to identify children's needs and use a range of strategies to help children develop in their own individual way. For example, staff use visual symbols as they talk with children to help develop their understanding. Any funding that children receive is spent well and has a positive impact on outcomes for children.

Outdoor space

Children have lots of freedom to explore indoors and outdoors. This helps children access fresh air and increase their physical skills and abilities. Children manage simple risks in their play as they balance on circular swings, carry and pour water from measuring jugs onto plants, and ride on bikes. They explore wider spaces in a nearby park, where children discover changes in trees and leaves in the natural environment.

Big time Nursery, is such a hidden gem. Located in Mill Hill Library, it so easy to get too. I am so pleased that I found this nursery. The staff are amazing, and offered both of my children that attended care, guidance and the opportunity to explore with their play. My children had the opportunity to take karate, ballet, dance and football classes as well as forest school. I have had lots of experiences at private nurseries, and this is the first that I honestly had zero issues. Maria the nursery manager is so knowledgeable and friendly. I have observed the staff from afar, and they have all interacted with my little one's, and the other children with care. Thank you Maria, Isabel and all staff past and present
