Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well. The manager, as the Special Educational Needs Coordinator, works closely with parents and professionals to ensure children receive the additional help they need, including through additional funding for resources and one-to-one support, helping them make good progress.
Children enjoy exploring the outdoor environment, engaging in activities such as digging in mud and sand, making mud pies, and finding worms. They also have opportunities to develop their physical skills by pedalling tricycles, playing on the slide, and balancing on tyres.
Staff support children's communication and language skills effectively, responding to babies' babbling with words and gestures, and introducing new vocabulary to older children during activities, helping all children make good progress in this area.
