What it's like to attend

• Children's behaviour and attitudes are exemplary, with exceptional levels of engagement and deep concentration in self-chosen play.
• Leaders have a very clear vision for the skills and knowledge children should acquire before starting school, which is consistently shared with staff and parents.
• Babies delight in exploring their physical environment, with staff displaying resources at their height to encourage access.
• Staff prioritise children's early language development through daily circle times, group discussions, and singing activities.
• Partnerships between staff and parents are a strength, with clear information shared about children's development and respectful collaboration.
• Staff effectively identify and plan for children's next steps in learning by thoroughly appraising their current development and considering the wider staff team's views.
• Children are supported and challenged in their learning by responsive staff, who extend their interests and prior learning.
• Children take pride in their environment, recognising when something needs to be tidied and doing so without prompting.
• The setting provides a broad range of activities to develop children's skills and knowledge, including trips to forest school and the local library, as well as yoga and drama classes.
