Rated Good by Ofsted in its latest inspection on 13th December 2022, the preschool provides a nurturing environment where children are warmly greeted by friendly and caring staff and quickly settle into routines.

The manager has thoughtfully designed a curriculum that revolves around children's interests, equipping them with valuable knowledge and skills for their future learning. All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, demonstrate good progress from their starting points.

The manager has successfully implemented screening tools to identify children who may require additional support with communication and language. Children benefit from positive interactions and ample praise, which helps foster confidence and self-esteem.

They exhibit very good behaviour, sharing, taking turns, and showing respect towards others. Daily access to an outdoor area allows children to develop good physical skills, riding wheeled toys and engaging in ball games.

They also learn about environmental changes, observing how ice melts. The staff and manager work collaboratively, fostering a happy and supportive atmosphere, which is reflected in low staff turnover.

Snack and mealtimes are nurturing, social occasions where children and staff engage in conversations. Staff encourage imaginative play, joining in with children as they pretend to bake or engage in other activities.

Children demonstrate a love for books, recalling stories and characters, and proudly share their drawings with staff, using a good vocabulary to describe their creations.

Outdoor space
