30am until 6pm, during term-time. This childcare setting provides a nurturing environment for children aged 0–4 years.

The nursery received a 'Good' rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 9 March 2023. Children are observed to enjoy their time, settling in quickly to play and learning.

The manager and staff are committed to providing equality of opportunity for all children, including dedicated and excellent support for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). A dedicated support unit and room are available for children with SEND, and the manager and SENCo collaborate closely with external professional services to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.

Parents of children with SEND highly commend the support their children receive and the regular updates on their developmental needs. The curriculum is designed to be progressive, with staff skilled in observing children's achievements and planning individual learning targets.

Staff adapt their teaching to support all ages and abilities, even helping babies comfortably explore snow. Physical development is a key focus, with staff planning activities that aid babies in building leg strength and older children in developing hand strength, vital for writing readiness.

The nursery also excels in fostering independence, with older babies learning to manage their outdoor clothes and mealtime routines, and older children handling their toilet routines and contributing to tidying up.

SEND provision

Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) benefit from a dedicated support unit within the nursery. The manager and special educational needs coordinator (SENCo) work very closely with a wide range of outside professional services to ensure that all children and their families receive the support they need. Parents of children with SEND state that the support provided for their children is excellent, and staff keep them fully updated about their children's developmental needs. The nursery has a dedicated room for children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Older babies learn to remove their outdoor clothes and boots. Staff plan well for children's physical development. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
