The special educational needs coordinator is knowledgeable about the individual needs of children attending the nursery. She makes timely referrals to a range of agencies and works closely with staff, parents and other professionals. This helps to ensure that the curriculum meets every child's needs.

Outdoor space

Children show awareness of each other's space as they ride around the outdoor area on scooters. They scoop soil onto baking trays as they make dinner for staff in the mud kitchen, which helps to develop children's large-muscle movements. Children's physical development is promoted well.
