Rockbourne Day Nursery Ltd, established in 2013 in Liverpool, provides a warm and welcoming environment for children aged 0-4 years. Open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, the nursery operates throughout the year, offering full-day care.

The dedicated team of 21 childcare staff, with 18 holding Level 3 or above qualifications, fosters a positive attitude to learning. The nursery provides funded early education for two, three, and four-year-old children.

With a strong focus on communication and language development, staff skillfully support emerging language skills through interactive engagement. The nursery also promotes children's health and well-being, encouraging outdoor play and incorporating yoga and mindfulness sessions.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is strong. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and are skilled at quickly identifying additional support and securing special interventions that children may need. Staff implement clear and consistent strategies in close partnership with parents. This supports all children to make good progress in their learning and development.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy outdoor play, where they develop a range of skills as they engage in energetic play. Children's health and well-being are promoted well. Yoga and mindfulness sessions help children to control and regulate their breathing.

Our son is very happy here. The staff are lovely and caring and Jo is a fab manager The rooms are clean and organised and the outside space is brilliant. It is hard leaving your child at a nursery but I feel like he is safe and cared for here :)

Wonderful nursery. My child has additional needs requiring to be peg fed. All the girls couldn't be more understanding helpful and thorough. Such a great team.

rude and unprofessional had an appointment booked to view the nursery no one was there , no phone call then lies over the phone when called them about it not sure how they run a nursery , will be putting an official complaint!
