Stone & Fairford Leys Childcare Limited provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in Stone, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1969 as Stone & District Playgroup, the nursery has evolved significantly, including a name change to Stone & Fairford Leys Preschool in 2003 and then to its current limited company status in 2022.
The setting moved to its dedicated premises at Maple House in 2014, allowing for expanded services. They offer care for children from undertwos to pre-school age, as well as a breakfast and after-school club for older children up to school year 6, including a holiday club.

SEND provision
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress. Staff skilfully play alongside them, modelling how to play with the available activities. Staff also spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.
Outdoor space
Staff offer young children a wide range of activities to develop their physical skills. Babies enjoy rocking back and forth on ride-on toys, while children enjoy riding bikes and running outdoors. The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

I pick a 3yr old up 3 days a week, staff are very very nice & the kids have such a good time at school it’s lovely to see they are well looked after & they have so much fun. Very Good
