However, further regulatory telephone calls on July 1 and July 9, 2024, revealed some unmet requirements. Specifically, the nursery had not adequately informed Ofsted of changes to contact details and there were concerns about risk assessments and staff training related to child safety.

As a result, Ofsted issued actions to strengthen risk assessments and enhance staff understanding of their roles in keeping children safe. The provider has addressed these concerns, and Ofsted is now satisfied with the actions taken.

Inspector highlights

  • On 26 June 2024, the provider notified us of an incident which happened in relation to the safety of a child. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider to look after children.
  • On 1 July 2024 and 9 July 2024, we carried out regulatory telephone calls to the provider. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements.
  • We also found that the provider had failed to inform us of changes to the contact details for the setting.
  • We are satisfied with the action taken.
