Booked a viewing with the manager was very nice on the telephone. A friend of ours stated a good Nursery. Called this morning to confirm appointment. The lady on the call did not have a clue. I kindly asked the lady to please check. Got there with my son and Sister in the rain. Rang the door bell. Big pause at the door in the rain, knew we were coming. I was told I need ID. Door in face once again, a three year old standing in the rain. Came back out after ten minutes, you need ID. Asked to talked to Manager or deputy not around. Strange experience booked and confirmed. Never told to bring ID. Worked in and managed so many nursery would not leave a three year old stand in the rain and cold like that. No manager or deputy around. Never said hello to my son just blanked him by two members staff there. Senior practitioner 2003 University of Birmingham. Nursery Management Level 7 Masters.

Absolutley LOVE this nursery. My son has come on so much in all areas since joining. He was so unsettled at a previous nursery. The green day nursery have amazing parent and home communication and the staff are amazing with the children. Highly recommend if youre in the Kings Norton area you send your child here!

How can a nursery be so anti child safety? The school next door place “please don’t park here” signs outside on the pavement each morning (double yellow and bus stop, but still parents pull up on pavement to drop their kids - even though two car parks within a 2 minute walk). The staff from the nursery then move the signs and, when asked why, say it’s so their parents can park there. Having had near misses with my own children and asked the nursery to tackle this all I can do is say that if you think child safety and the rules of the Highway Code trump minor convenience, don’t send your kids here. The member of staff I spoke to was rude and shouting at me from the doorway of the nursery - a great example to set your children.
