The Little Sweethearts Montessori, established in 2022, provides childcare on non-domestic premises for children aged 2 to 3 years. 30pm on Tuesday and Thursday.
This Good-rated setting, following its inspection on 18th September 2024, offers a motivating and calm learning environment where children are warmly greeted. Staff use unique settling-in sessions and regular communication to support children's emotional well-being and build strong partnerships with parents.
The curriculum focuses on developing communication skills through engaging activities like retelling stories with puppets, fostering a love of books, and promoting physical development with a safe indoor space for bike riding. Staff also encourage independence by allowing children to choose and tidy activities, and they instil good health habits through nutritious eating and handwashing education.
The nursery provides very good support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), working closely with professionals and parents to create individual plans. Children who speak English as an additional language are well-supported, with staff asking parents to share words in their home language to aid communication development.
The quality of education is observed both indoors and outdoors, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.
